FAQ
How is a mezuzah affixed to the wall? Is it nailed or glued?
With us, every mezuzah comes with 3M double-sided adhesive tape. This is an extremely strong and weather-resistant adhesive, so all you need to do is peel off the protective layer and install the mezuzah. It's important to thoroughly clean the surface before applying the mezuzah. It can be adhered to wood, metal, concrete, and drywall. Keep in mind that this adhesive is very strong, so be sure to check the surface and the installation height carefully before applying, as once it's attached, it is very difficult to remove or reposition.
Is the mezuzah resistant to winter weather?
Yes, the mezuzah is resistant to external moisture and humidity, making it suitable
for winter weather conditions.
Is the mezuzah resistant to summer weather?
The mezuzah withstands summer weather conditions but should not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. Over time, prolonged sun exposure may cause slight burn marks on the epoxy, indicating that the sunlight is affecting the product. We recommend installing the mezuzah in a shaded area whenever possible.
Can you engrave butcher blocks?
Yes, we offer engraving on butcher blocks! You can add custom designs, names, or special dedications. The engraving is done professionally and precisely without
compromising the quality of the butcher block.
Can you use a knife on the butcher block?
Yes, you can use a knife on the butcher block. However, it’s best to cut gently to
maintain its appearance. Over time light scratches may appear on the surface but the surface can easily be renewed at home. You simply sand it down gently with fine-grit sandpaper and apply our special oil to restore the block to its full original beauty.
How do you clean the butcher block?
You can clean the butcher block with water and mild soap without any concerns. Make sure to dry it immediately after cleaning to prevent moisture absorption. For long-term preservation, we recommend applying our special oil to maintain and protect the block.
Is there any toxicity in the product?
Epoxy in its liquid state does have a certain level of toxicity.
However, once the epoxy fully cures, it becomes stable and safe for use, with
most of its volatile compounds evaporating. Our products are crafted to be safe, including for food contact
Is the butcher block safe for food contact?
Absolutely!
The butcher block is safe for food contact, similar to common plastic surfaces.
However, avoid placing very hot items, such as pots or flames, directly on the
epoxy. Other than that, you can safely use it for food preparation and serving.
Can the tables be used as outdoor furniture?
Our tables are not designed to withstand extreme outdoor weather conditions like
strong sunlight or heavy rain. The most immediate damage will occur to the
lacquer coating, and the epoxy may show burn marks from prolonged sun exposure.
We recommend using the tables in covered or protected outdoor spaces.
How does the product react to sunlight?
Our wood and epoxy products, including tables, butcher blocks, and mezuzahs, are not meant for prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions.
