Shipping policy

Introduction


This policy is formulated in accordance with the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, the Contracts Law (General Part), 1973, and the Sale Law, 1968. It applies to all products purchased from our business.
 We are committed to operating in compliance with these laws and to providing the highest level of service.
 In the event of a conflict between the provisions of this policy and the Consumer Protection Law, the provisions of the law shall prevail.


1 . Shipping

Delivery Areas:
 We currently offer shipping to the following regions:

  • Israel: Deliveries to Judea and Samaria may be limited due to courier company restrictions. Please contact us, and we will try to find a suitable solution.
  • United States, Canada and Germany


We plan to expand our delivery zones in the future.


Shipping Address:
 Please make sure to provide your full and accurate shipping address when placing your order. Errors in the address may result in return of the package and possible delays.


Processing Time:

  • Standard order processing time: up to 7 business days
  • For custom orders with engraving: up to 14 business days
     Note: Fridays and Saturdays are not considered business days. In case of delays or special events, updates will be provided via email.


Delivery Time:

  • Israel: up to 7 business days
  • United States, Canada and Germany: up to 28 business days


Shipping Delays:
 If a delay is caused by the courier and not by the company, it will not be considered a delay unless seven business days have passed since the scheduled delivery date. In such a case, the customer may cancel the order without cancellation or shipping fees.

Shipping Costs:
Shipping fees are calculated based on the total weight of the ordered products.


Shipment Tracking:

  • UPS: Customers will receive a tracking number and a link to track their shipment.
  • Gal Couriers: Customers will receive a tracking number and may contact us for delivery status.


Customs & Taxes:
 Product prices do not include customs duties or taxes, which are the customer’s responsibility.


Postponing Delivery:
 A customer may request to postpone the delivery date by coordinating with and receiving approval from the company.
 If the delivery is postponed for six months or more, the transaction will be considered final, and the customer will not be entitled to cancel or return the product.
 Postponement may incur additional storage costs.


International Shipping Terms:

  • Local taxes, customs duties, and handling fees at the destination are the customer's responsibility.
  • Delivery time may vary by destination.
  • All international orders are shipped via UPS with tracking, and typically arrive within 14–28 business days.


Packaging:
 All items are carefully packaged. If the item is a gift, we are happy to include a handwritten note – please write the message in the order notes.


2. Returns and Cancellations
Order Cancellation (per Consumer Protection Law):

  • Non-customized products: Orders may be cancelled within 14 days of receiving the product, provided it has not been used and is returned in its original packaging.
  • Customized products: Cancellations are not allowed once customer approval and production have begun.
  • Engraved items: Cannot be cancelled after the order is approved.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via email or contact form).


Cancellation Fees:
If the cancellation is not due to a defective item, a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction amount or 100 NIS (whichever is lower) will be charged, in accordance with the law.
Shipping fees (both to and from the customer) are non-refundable and are the customer's responsibility.
For products purchased with free shipping, a fee of 50 NIS will be deducted from the refund.


3. Warranty, Defects, and Non-Conformity


Warranty (per the Israeli Sale Law):
We provide a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase on all products.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
It does not cover damage caused by improper use, poor maintenance, exposure to extreme heat, or excessive moisture.
For products that come into contact with food (e.g., butcher blocks), warranty coverage is conditional upon proper ongoing maintenance, such as oiling the wood as instructed in the care guide provided with the product.


Defects and Non-Conformity (per the Sale Law):
In case a product arrives damaged or does not match the order, please notify us within 7 days of receipt.
We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the situation.


4. Custom Orders and Design Approval


Custom Products
Items are made only after the design is approved by the customer.
Before production begins, the customer will receive a sketch or rendering for approval.
This applies to tables, lamps, uniquely designed butcher blocks, personalized mezuzahs, and all other custom-made products.

  • Orders cannot be canceled or returned after approval and production start, unless there is a defect.
  • The customer will receive up to two design drafts for approval before production.
  • Written approval (via email or message) constitutes order confirmation and obligates the customer.


Post-Approval Changes:
Changes after approval are allowed only if technically possible, and may incur additional fees and extended production time.


Deposit Payment:
A 50% deposit is required to begin production. Once paid, this amount is non-refundable.


5. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards may be purchased for use on the website or in-store, in predefined amounts.
  • Validity: Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise.
  • Usage: Can be used on all products, including custom-made items, unless specified otherwise.
  • Non-redeemable for cash: Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, even if unused.
  • No change given: If the purchase total is less than the card’s value, the remaining balance will be available for future use until the card’s expiry.
  • Lost or stolen cards: The company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift cards.
  • Gift card cancellation: May be canceled within 14 days of purchase, provided the card has not been used. Once used (even partially), it cannot be canceled or refunded.


6. Miscellaneous


Natural Characteristics of Products:
Our wooden products are made from ancient olive wood and crystal-clear epoxy, and may include natural variations in color, texture, and material characteristics. These differences are part of the beauty and uniqueness of each piece and do not constitute defects.


Refund Processing:
Refunds will be issued within 14 business days from the approval of the cancellation request, using the same payment method used in the original transaction.
For credit card payments, the refund is subject to the credit card provider’s processing timeline.


International Orders:
Products will be shipped only after credit card authorization is complete and all consumer protection requirements are fulfilled.
